Multiple discrimination of female immigrants
No-one may be discriminated against on the basis of their race, skin colour, nationality or ethnic origin. Nevertheless, immigrant women in Switzerland are often subject not only to gender-specific discrimination, but they are also disadvantaged as a result of their origin. In particular they face structural obstacles to participation and accessing resources, for example as a result of legal restrictions for non-nationals.
