Mandate

The Federal Commission for Women's Issues FCWI is an extra-parliamentary permanent commission appointed by the Swiss Federal Council in 1976. As an advisory body of the Confederation, it examines all issues that affect the situation of women in Switzerland and equality between the sexes.
